My virtual therapy services are available to Canadian residents living in Ontario, BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Laborador, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunuvut.

  • Such an important question! How long a person may want or need to spend in therapy will vary from person to person, but I think transparent conversations about how long we might have together are important. To make good use of our time together and your resources, what I can offer is support with both setting and tracking goals. I also make a regular habit of checking in with you to ensure that you are feeling supported and that what we are addressing in therapy is helpful. I regularly attend supervision and peer consultation to ensure therapy is as productive and supportive as possible. Please see my "About Me" page for more information.

  • Payment can be done either by e-transfer or credit card, and is due on the same date of your appointment.

  • Insurance plans for work and school often have some coverage available for mental health or psychotherapy services. The best way to find out more about this is to contact your insurance provider and ask about your coverage. I am more than happy to assist you with any questions that you may have. Please feel free to send me an email.

  • The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario is the licensing body that Registered Psychotherapists (including qualifying members) belong to. Qualifying members are early-career psychotherapists who continue to engage in supervision as a part of their practice in order to support provision of quality care.

  • Therapy looks different from person to person, but in general, the process of therapy begins with us exploring what has brought you in and what might be causing you pain, stress, and/or anxiety. I might ask questions about your history with whatever issue, and then we may explore its roots to support you developing insights, and work toward figuring out strategies that you can use to help yourself. Ideally, how we work together in therapy is based on our collaboration together. I encourage you to let me know if you have any specific needs, interests, or preferences when it comes to how we work together!
